The Hondo FFA Invitational prospect show is open to all students through 12th Grade.

· Clipping is optional but not required.

· Weigh in will be 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.—turn in your own weights

· There will be no preset weight breaks

· Weigh back top 2 in each class

Swine—10lbs; Lambs—5lbs; Goats—4lbs; Steers—5%

· The show will begin at 9:00a.m. with the Lamb & Swine Showmanship Shows

· Entry Fee will be $20.00 per animal—no late fees

· Entries will be paid day of show at weigh-in.

Buckles will be awarded to all Grand and Reserve Grand Champions of the show. 

Acrylics will be awarded to all Division and Reserve Division Champions.

Cash Awards will also be awarded to all Champion showmanship winners.

Showmanship will be divided into four divisions: 

($5 @ the gate for a jackpot prize to winners)

· Pewee division is Grade 3 and under;

· Junior division will consist of Grades 4-8;

· Senior division will consist of Grades 9-12;

· Old-timer division is open to anyone post-high school

· ($5 cash donation to Hondo FFA)

The show order will be as follows:
         Ring A:  Swine, Goats
         Ring B:   Lambs, Heifers, Steers

Judges:  Michael Collins, Idalou HS AST—Goats & Lambs

Ryan Cummins, Faith West Academy AST—Swine, Heifers & Steers
